In celebration of the National Park Service Centennial, the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad is running a special throughout the month of August. Kids (ages 12 and under) ride for free on the National Park Scenic Excursion with the purchase of an Adult Coach National Park Scenic Ticket. The National Park Scenic Coach Ticket is an all-day pass, so families have the opportunity to get off the train and explore Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
Purchase tickets in advance at cvsr.com or at Rockside Station, Peninsula Depot, or Akron Northside Station 30 minutes prior to departure. Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please note that this ticket only applies to National Park Scenic Coach tickets. The adult coach ticket price is $15. Limit three children per adult ticket. All children MUST be accompanied by an adult. This offer is valid only for the month of August and cannot be applied with any other discount or offer.
The scenic train runs Wednesdays through Sundays. Please visit cvsr.com for more information on departure times and locations.
