Possession of drugs: A 30-year-old Garfield Heights man was charged with possession of drugs Nov. 25 at 1:30 p.m. at Macedonia Commons. Police received an anonymous call about a suspicious man. When police arrived, they said the man gave them false information about his name but later provided the correct information. Police said they found a bottle containing 0.5 grams of marijuana in the man's right pants pocket along with three burnt marijuana cigarettes.

OVI arrest: A 40-year-old Stow woman was charged with possession of drugs and OVI Nov. 24 at 5 a.m. after police said they found a bag with 3.7 grams of marijuana and a bag with 0.2 grams of cocaine in her possession. Police said they stopped the woman's car because she had stopped in the intersection at Route 8 and Highland Road. The woman was charged with obstructing an intersection. The woman was also charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol after police said she failed field sobriety tests. Police said they found the marijuana in the car's center console. Police said they found the cocaine in her right rear pocket at the police station.

THEFT

Prescription drugs taken: A Macedonia woman reported Dec. 2 at 6:17 p.m. prescription drugs were stolen from a car parked at Macedonia Commons. The woman reported the car was unlocked at the time. Nothing else was reported missing, according to the report.

Headphones stolen: Police were summoned Nov. 19 at 7:35 p.m. following a report of a theft from a Macedonia Commons store. Store security personnel said a woman placed a pair of $109 headphones into a basket and left the store without paying for them. Police said the woman got into a car driven by another person and they got away.

DAMAGE TO GARAGE

Hole in siding on garage: A Cranbrook Drive man reported Nov. 22 at 5:04 p.m. there was a hole in the siding on his garage. Also, the siding was cracked in several spots around the hole. The man said it occurred between the previous night and Nov. 22 at 3 p.m. The man reported it is unknown how the hole was created. No dollar amount was listed.

DISORDERLY

CONDUCT

Obstructing official business: A 27-year-old Maple Heights woman was charged with obstructing official business and disorderly conduct Nov. 27 at 2:05 a.m. at a Northfield Road business where she was an employee. Police were summoned following a report of a fight between the woman and another female employee.

Police said the Maple Heights woman was in a locker room area in the rear of the building, where she could be heard "yelling non-stop and screaming obscenities, as well as slamming objects around in the locker room," according to police.

Officers asked the woman to come out of the locker room and handcuffed her. She resisted officers as they escorted her out of the building, "continuing the violent and turbulent behavior and obscene language in the presence of management," according to police, who said the woman also refused to give them her name or date of birth. The information was finally provided by management, who told the woman she was no longer welcome at the business.

The other woman was not charged.
