I am writing to express my great concern for the City of Macedonia. I recently witnessed the Council meeting on 12/13/12 in which Councilor Molnar had proposed an ordinance to fine hotel operators that continually allowed the same prostitutes to patronize the business. The council worked with hotel operators to develop the plan to target the offenders and utilized the law department and police. Ken Martin, Reta Darrow and Dave Engle voted against the ordinance because they felt the answer was to just add more police. Instead of taking all steps to prevent prostitution and meth labs, Martin, Darrow and Engle chose to do nothing. I am appalled. Please remember this when these people are up for re-election since they apparently condone prostitution and meth labs. Kudos to Molnar and Miller for caring for our community!
