Handsome Huey is a sweet and charming 5 year-old Beagle who came to Canine Lifeline from an overcrowded rural county dog shelter to have a second chance at a happy life. He was thrown over the fence at the shelter one night along with his friends Louie and Dewey and the shelter found three sad and frightened dogs when they arrived the next morning. All three boys came to Canine Lifeline and they’re each now looking to make a fresh start with a new family. Huey has the typical lovable Beagle disposition and is as cuddly as they come. He keeps his crate spotless which bodes well for housetraining in his new home. Huey had no idea what a leash was all about when he first arrived but he’s doing a little better now. With some more practice, he’ll soon be trotting around his new neighborhood like a pro. Huey weighs about 25 pounds and his adoption fee is $200. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Huey.
