Kelly’s Grief Center is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that was founded in 2009 to provide support and counseling by licensed counselors for adults, teens, and children grieving the loss of a loved one. The center serves individuals of all ages and offers support through both individual and/or group counseling. The groups are designed to provide a safe and supportive environment for people to share their loss journey.
Every second and fourth Tuesday of the month from 6:30 to 8 p.m., three support groups meet to help participants understand and work through their grief. These consist of one group for children (ages 6-12), one for teens (ages 12-18), and one for adults. Each group provides a platform to share, discuss, explore and learn how to cope with feelings and emotions. Group activities may include art, games or other fun activities to help children cope with loss.
Kelly’s Grief Center grief groups are at 135 E. Erie St., Suite 302, in Kent. To arrange individual and/or group counseling, contact Aileen or Amanda at Counseling for Wellness 330-677-2000. To learn more about Kelly’s Grief Center visit: kellysgriefcenter.org.
