Nordonia Hills branch library hours set
The library is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, from noon to 6 p.m., Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The library is closed Sundays.
The second Wednesday of each month at 3:30 p.m., meet to talk about what's going on your life, school, town or the world. We'll discuss philosophy, current events or whatever is on the group's mind. And don't forget we'll have cookies! Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 3:30 p.m.
Interested in candid, thought-provoking conversation? Join your fellow patrons at the Socrates Caf, an informal adult discussion that takes place each month here at the library. The Cafe opens on Feb. 8 at 6:30 p.m.
Coffee & Conversation book discussions
Join us for some great conversation with your fellow Nordonia Hills readers! Our afternoon book discussion group meets the second Thursday of each month.
Our next discussion is Feb. 9 at 2 p.m. We will discuss "The Eleventh Man," by Ivan Doig.

This program is for you! Children school age and up bring moms, dads, and the whole family Feb. 11 at 2:30 p.m.
Monday Casual Reads
Join us the second Monday of each month for reader-to-reader book discussions, fun, and sharing with fellow light reading lovers.
We will discuss "Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet," by Jamie Ford, Feb. 13 at 2 p.m.
Join us for messy fun! Don't forget to wear some old clothes, you may get messy.
On Monday, Feb. 13, 6 p.m. we will have some fun making crafty winter bird feeders.
Grab your crocheting/ knitting needles and yarn and stitch the evening away. Join us the second Tuesday of each month for crocheting/ knitting tips, friendship, advice and more. Refreshments will be served Feb. 14, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Writers' Guildof Nordonia Hills
Writers wanted! New writers and old hands welcome: fiction, nonfiction, and everything in between. Have your work critiqued and give feedback to others in a fun and friendly environment. Please bring a sample of your work to share. Light snacks provided. Meets the third Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. The next meeting will be on Wednesday, Feb. 15.
Friends of the Library Book Sale
The Friends of Nordonia Hills Branch Library will hold their Spring Book Sale Friday, March 3, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. AND Saturday, March 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A $4.00 bag sale begins at 2 p.m. Saturday.
The preview sale for Friends members is Friday, March 3, from 12:30 to 3 p.m. Memberships starting at $5 may be purchased at the door. You must be a member to attend.
The library is now accepting donations of gently used hardback and paperback books, video and audio recordings, and puzzles. No magazines, Reader's Digest Condensed Books, textbooks, or encyclopedias are accepted.
