Nordonia Hills Branch Library hours set
The library is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from noon to 6 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The library is closed Sundays.
For Grades K-5 -- Monthly challenges are located in the children's area. Complete the challenge for a chance to win a small prize. For the March project, shape your own leprechaun pot o' gold.
For the aspiring beekeeper: find out what the beginning beekeeper needs to know in their first year. Learn about your local ordinances, where to place the beehive, how to install a package of bees, how to feed your bees and how to conduct a hive inspection. Wednesday, March 15, 6 p.m.
Writers' Guild of Nordonia Hills
Writers wanted! New writers and old hands welcome: fiction, nonfiction, and everything in between. Have your work critiqued and give feedback to others in a fun and friendly environment. Please bring a sample of your work to share. Light snacks provided. Meets the third Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. The next meeting will be on March 15.
We welcome the acclaimed theater troupe back to Nordonia Hills for a 17th year as they present an original world premiere play March 16 at 6 p.m. "The Jabberwocky," is based on the classic poem by Lewis Carroll. The performance is approximately 50 minutes long. A talk-back with the company will follow. No registration needed; seats are first-come, first-seated.
Nordonia Hills Game Time
The library hosts a regular gaming "meet-up" each month for patrons who enjoy board games, cards, chess, role-playing, war games, and collectible card games. The next meet-up will be March 18, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Refreshments are served. No registration is necessary.
Join our program for families of all ages. One Monday a month at 6:30 p.m. we'll get together for some great crafts. On March 20, join Miss Sue and make Bulgarian Martenitsa dolls.
For students in grade 5 and up. One Tuesday a month at 4 p.m. we will get together and create with a different medium. On March 21, make something with sand paper.
After School Club
For children in kindergarten through fourth- grade. On March 22 at 4 p.m. we will make a sock bunny.
Wellness Yoga: Yoga Off the Mat
Learn soothing stretches that you can incorporate into your daily life in this gentle yoga series with Diane Bielecki, who graduated from the Cleveland Clinic School of Yoga. No mat is needed as stretches are done standing or in a chair. Please dress in comfortable clothing and arrive 5 to 10 minutes early so that class may begin on time. This class is limited to 20 participants, and registration is strongly suggested. Wednesdays, March 22, 29, and April 5, at 6:30 p.m.
The Mystery Book Lovers discussion group is an informal group of adult mystery readers. Our next discussion will be "Reader's Choice" of a Georgette Heyer mystery on Wednesday, March 22 at 7 p.m.

Stories especially designed "not just for children." Some tales will make you think, some will make you laugh, some will make you wonder, but all of them have hidden wisdom for you to discover. Storytellers from the Western Reserve Association for the Preservation and Perpetuation of Storytelling present an adult story concert March 23 at 7 p.m. Registration is suggested.
The world is your canvas with virtual reality March 25 from 1 to 4 p.m. With Google Tilt Brush on the HTC Vive, paint in 3D space as you experience the future of digital art. Play other creative digital experiences while you wait: build in Minecraft, make your own Super Mario levels, and play the original Nintendo's sound chip. No registration necessary.
Bring your own coloring book or choose from provided coloring pages and spend the evening relaxing and coloring with new friends March 28 at 6 p.m.
Cooking Club meets
An interactive group for discussing all things cooking, comparing recipes, and trying new eats the first Tuesday of each month. The next meeting is April 4 at 6 p.m.
