1 SEE A TRIBUTE TO THE TWILIGHT ZONE:

A one-act presentation featuring Mark Dawidziak and Sara Showman of the Largely Literary Theater Co. is scheduled for April 13 at 7 p.m. Based on Dawidziak's recently published book, "Everything I Know I Learned in The Twilight Zone," this is a tribute to the enduring storytelling power of The Twilight Zone, featuring life lessons drawn from classic episodes of Rod Serling's beloved anthology series. The performance will be followed by a question-and-answer session and book signing. Registration is suggested by calling the library at 330-467-8595. Refreshments will be served.

2 GO TO A FISH FRY:

The two final fish fries of this Lenten season are April 14 at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6768, from 5 to 7 p.m. and at St. Barnabas Church, from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

4 HIKE AND LOOK FOR AMPHIBIANS:

Spring is amphibian season and people of all ages are invited to take a hike in search of frogs, salamanders and toads April 18 from 2 to 3: 30 p.m. in Deep Lock Quarry Metro Park, 5779 Riverview Road in Peninsula. For more information, call 330-865-8065.

5 CHEER ON THE VARSITY KNIGHTS AT NORDONIA HIGH SCHOOL:

The Nordonia Knights baseball team plays Cuyahoga Falls April 17 and North Royalton April 18, with both games starting at 4:30 p.m. The Lady Knights softball squad plays Stow-Munroe Falls April 18 at 4:30 p.m. The boys tennis team plays North Royalton on April 17, Aurora on April 18, and Twinsburg on April 19, starting at 4 p.m. each day.
