COLUMBUS — A few lucky Ohioans will get to see Gov. John Kasich’s State of the State speech in Sandusky next month in person, thanks to an online drawing for tickets launched Tuesday.
Anyone interested in attending can submit their names via the governor’s website (governor.ohio.gov) through noon on March 24. Those submitting their names can request up to two tickets; winners will be selected at random and notified by email by March 29 if they win.
The governor’s annual address to a joint session of the Ohio House and Senate will take place on April 4 (that’s a Tuesday) at 7 p.m. at the Sandusky State Theatre.
It’s the sixth time Kasich will offer the speech on the road, following earlier stops in Steubenville, Lima, Medina, Wilmington and Marietta.
