Floral Salute: Emergency Assistance Center Volunteer "appreciated and loved"

This week's floral salute goes to Steve Gerhard, who was nominated by Christina Ciryak and the staff of the Emergency Assistance Center with the following letter:
"The staff and volunteers of the Emergency Assistance Center Inc. would like to nominate Steve Gerhard to receive a floral salute.
"Steve has been a dedicated and loyal volunteer for the Emergency Assistance Center for the past 4 years. In addition to hauling, sorting and stocking, Steve also delivers groceries on a monthly basis to a group of seniors with the program.
"Every year, Steve takes his vacation time from work to assist during several of our busiest times.
"Steve has a great sense of humor that makes the sometimes heavy and tedious work fun.
"We want Steve to know how much he is appreciated and loved."
Participating florists are Grahams Flowers by Barbra, Petal Place Florist and Northfield Florist.
