No challengers for school board

With two-term Board of Education member Mary Sindelar stepping down, two-term incumbent Greg Harris and educator Kim Sethna are running unopposed.

The next term begins Jan. 1. District Treasurer Christopher Wright said Board members currently receive the maximum allowed by state law, $125 per meeting they attend, but are paid for no more than one meeting per day. In the 2007 fiscal year, which ended June 30, the five Board members received an average of $2,150 each, said Wright.
