Services were scheduled to take place at 10 a.m. on May 21 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for Helen (nee Swiderski) Haas. The Rev. David Trask was scheduled to officiate.
Mrs. Haas, 93, died May 18, 2008, at University Hospitals Bedford Medical Center. She was member of the 50-Plus Club at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, the Brecksville AARP chapter and the Out-to-Lunch Bunch.
She was the daughter of Ignatius Swiderski and Roase (Mrozenski) Swiderski, both deceased.
Mrs. Haas was the wife of Victor R. Haas, deceased and the mother of Rosemary (Haas) Marshall of Northfield Center. She was the grandmother of Jennifer (Paul) Patterson and Thomas Marshall, and Kristen Marshall, deceased. She was the great-grandmother of Jacob, Nathan and Julia Patterson.
Mrs. Haas was the sister of Theresa Bielecki and Delores Lane and Edward Swiderski and Rita Smith, both deceased.
Interment will be at Northfield-Macedonia Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Johnson-Romito Funeral Home.
