Howard Hanna Smythe Cramer is conducting a series of informative, no-charge seminars throughout northeastern Ohio, designed for home sellers and buyers in the current local real estate market.

The seller seminars will include experts to explain conditions and dispel myths about the current market, provide insights to maximize appearance and appeal of a property, and offer information about home inspections, mortgages and pricing.

The buyer seminars help buyers understand the home buying process.

Those who attend will learn about mortgage programs, financing, title transfer and home inspections, as well as learn about current local market conditions.

There will be a seller seminar May 29 at the Hudson Library, 96 Library Street in Hudson from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Buyer seminars will be conducted in many local Howard Hanna branches including Brecksville, May 21, from 6 to 8 p.m., and Macedonia, June 14 from 11 a.m. to noon and June 18 from 6 to 7 p.m.

Resident completes training with lia sophia

Sagamore Hills resident Terri Walters, an adviser with direct selling fashion jewelry company lia sophia, recently completed a two-day training session at the organization's Unit Manager University in Rosemont, Ill. The course is designed for entry-level field managers and offers advisors a chance to learn various management disciplines.

Tastefully Simple recognizes consultants

Tastefully Simple Inc., a national direct seller of gourmet foods, announces that Macedonia resident Jodie Hamar, an independent consultant with the organization, has been promoted to the position of team leader. Hamar earned the promotion through sales achievements and by adding new consultants to the team.

The company also announces that Macedonia resident Joyce Brasdovich has become an independent consultant in the organization.

As a consultant, Brasdovich offers the company's products to guests at home taste-testing parties.
