Mr. and Mrs. John Stefka of Sagamore Hills celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary May 18 with the renewal of their wedding vows at the 9 a.m. Mass at St. Barnabas Catholic Church. The Rev. Michael Denk officiated.
Family and friends attended the ceremony and welcomed the couple afterward at a small reception at the Blue Canyon Restaurant in Twinsburg.
The couple has lived in the Nordonia Hills area for 38 years, where they raised their two daughters, Laura (Russell) Vales and Lisa (Michael) Hill. They have three grandsons, Ryan Vales, 10, Kevin Vales, 6, and Ethan Hill, 7 months.
