Class of 1988 hosting 20-year reunion

The Nordonia High School's graduating Class of 1988 announces it will host a 20-year reunion over three days beginning July 25.

The reunion will begin with an informal night at Scorchers Bar and Grill in Northfield Village at 7 p.m. There will be complimentary snacks and drink specials at this kick-off event.

The reunion will continue July 26 with a "scramble style" golf outing at Brandywine Golf Course.

Tee time for the golf outing is 9 a.m., and alumni can purchase their 18 holes of golf when they arrive at the course. Saturday's festivities continue into the evening with a formal night at Gambitta's Party Center (formerly Anthony's) in Northfield Center.

The Marino Brothers will DJ the event while alumni share memories over dinner and enjoy an open bar and dancing.

The cost is $65 per person or $125 per couple.

The reunion weekend will come to a close July 27 with a family picnic at Sagamore Hills Township Park.

The "bring your own picnic" event will begin at 11 a.m.

There will be games and prizes for kids, and a corn hole tournament for adults.
