Services were June 6 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church for Sagamore Hills resident James C. Gordon. Mr. Gordon, 62, died May 30, 2009, at Hospice of the Cleveland Clinic Renaissance.
Mr. Gordon was born Jan. 10, 1947, in Cleveland to Henry and Betty Ford, deceased. He attended college for four years and worked in finance for St. Vincent Charity Hospital.
Mr. Gordon was the husband of Kathy (Yeddy) and the father of Christopher (Kimberly). He was the brother of Ellen (Russell) Hart and Rich (Lidia) Ford; brother-in-law of Bonnie (Robert) Armstrong, Connie (Leo) Beckwith, Victor (Cheryl) Puleo and Peggy Puleo.
He was the dearest uncle of many, companion of his "best friend" Lady and was faithfully cared for by his angels Betty Hendricks and Jean Bzdafka.
Burial was at All Saints Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Hospice of the Cleveland Clinic, 6801 Brecksville Road, Independence 44131.
Ferfolia Funeral Home handled arrangements.
