Services were May 23 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church for Sagamore Hills resident Martha E. Tuzi. Mrs. Tuzi, 79, died May 19, 2009, at her home.
Mrs. Tuzi was born Oct. 1, 1929, in Morgantown, W.Va. to John and Mary Brown.
Mrs. Tuzi worked as a secretary before becoming a full-time mother in 1965 and again in 1967. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and cultivating flowers.
She traveled extensively with her family, showing her family new vistas. She will be remembered fondly by friends, and family for her humor and sense of adventure and who, one and all, will miss her cooking, especially her chicken and biscuits.
She was the wife of Louis A. and the mother of Pamela Ann Ritley and Mark A. Tuzi. She was the sister of Jane E. McKinney and the following deceased: John E. Brown, Dorothy McKeever, JoAnn Price, Richard Brown and Robert Brown. She had three grandchildren.
Burial was at All Saints Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Hospice of The Cleveland Clinic and or the Cleveland Clinic Oncology Department.
Ferfolia Funeral Home handled arrangements.
