Air Force veteran

Services were June 26 for Robert Michael DeLuca. Mr. DeLuca, 68, of Macedonia, died June 22, 2009, at his home.

Mr. DeLuca served in the U.S. Air Force from 1962 to 1966 as a jet mechanic. Upon his discharge, he went to work for Alcoa as a millwright until his retirement in 2003. He was a former member of the Solon Gun Club, where he shot competitively. He was also an avid golfer and fisherman.

Mr. DeLuca was the husband of Dorine C., nee Hebebrand.

He was the father of Lynn (Brian) Vinson of Northfield, and Brian Scott (Sara) DeLuca of Indianapolis. 

He was the grandfather of Braden and Brody DeLuca and Kyle and Aiden Vinson.

He was the brother of Anita Davis of Fort Myers, Fla.

Burial was at Crown Hill Memorial Park in Twinsburg.

The family suggests contributions be made to the United Methodist Church of Macedonia 1280 E. Aurora Road, Macedonia, Ohio 44056.

Johnson - Romito Funeral Home handled arrangements.
