The registration deadline to be eligible to vote in the Nov. 3 general election is Oct. 5.
The Summit County Board of Elections will have staff at the following locations on the dates listed to register voters:
* Chapel Hill Mall, 2000 Brittain Road, Akron: Sept. 24-26 and Oct. 1-3, from noon to 7 p.m.
* Borders Books, Music and Cafe, 3737 W. Market St., Fairlawn: Sept. 24-26 and Oct. 1-3, from noon to 7 p.m.
* Acme Fresh Market #4, 116 W. Streetsboro St., Hudson: Oct. 2-3, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
* Acme Fresh Market #10, 2226 State Road, Cuyahoga Falls: Oct. 2-3, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
* Acme Fresh Market #6, 3200 Greenwich Road, Norton: Oct. 2-3, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
* Acme Fresh Market #14, 3235 Manchester Road, Akron: Oct. 2-3, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
* Acme Fresh Market #18, 2147 East Ave., Akron: Oct. 2-3, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
* Henry's Acme #90, 1525 Plaza Blvd., Akron: Oct. 2-3, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Ohio residents who are U.S. citizens can also register to vote at the following permanent locations: The Board of Elections, 470 Grant St, Akron; any public high school or vocational school; any Bureau of Motor Vehicles; any public library; the county fiscal office; Offices of designated agencies which provide public assistance or disability programs.
