The Nordonia Hills City Schools is planning the "It's My Turn" Family and Community Dinner in the Nordonia High School cafeteria on Oct. 29 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Event participants can celebrate with students who have completed the "It's My Turn" training sponsored by the Ohio Coalition for the Education of Children with Disabilities, which will provide the dinner.

The students will show the skills and knowledge acquired during this workshop, which covers
the many aspects of transitioning from high school and the different paths they may follow.

To RSVP, call the parent mentor office at 330-908-6219 or e-mail parent.mentors@nordoniaschools.org or to marina.ergun@nordoniaschools.org.

The workshops are also open to those who wish to observe at the high school on Oct. 27, 28 and 29 from 7:30 to 10 a.m. or 11:45 a.m. to 2 p.m.
