Frank and Betty (nee Surace) Chilinski of Sagamore Hills celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Nov. 14, 2009. An anniversary Mass was conducted at St Barnabas Church by the Rev. Bob Wenz. After Mass, family and friends gathered for a reception at Gambitta's Party Center in Northfield Center.
Frank and Betty were married in 1959 at St. Henry's Church in Cleveland. They have lived in Sagamore Hills for the past 30 years and have four children: Frank Chilinski of Storrs/Mansfield, Conn., Steve Chilinski of Reminderville, Jim Chilinski of Stow, and Beth Posar of Sagamore Hills. Frank and Betty are retired and enjoy traveling, sharing the morning crossword puzzle, gardening, and spending time with family and friends, especially their 10 grandchildren: Justin, Jenna, Victoria, Steven, Ryan, Julia, Matthew, and Rebecca Chilinski, and Megan and Abigail Posar.
