A new church, Emmanuel Anglican Fellowship, is forming in Twinsburg and will serve the surrounding area. The church is part of the "Anglican Mission in the Americas." The church currently meets at The Pines Retreat house Chapel, 2365 Old Mill Road in Twinsburg. Sunday morning worship services are at 10 a.m., fellowship is at 11:15 a.m. and teaching is at 11:45 a.m. In 2000, the Anglican Mission in the Americas was born as a missionary strategy in response to what was seen as a crisis of faith and leadership in North America. The congregation and its leaders are driven by a vision of reaching 150 million individuals in the U.S. and Canada who have yet to respond to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Purposes for the church include growing in the love and knowledge of the Lord; sharing that love and knowledge with others; and having the church be a place of healing and restoration for people who have found themselves alienated from the church. Those interested in helping build this new work are welcome. `For more information, contact 330-405-9403 or e-mail frbieber@juno.com. Visit the Web site at emmanuelanglicanfellowship.wordpress.com.
