It’s not too late to RSVP for the January Chamber meeting at Gambitta’s Party Center on Jan. 7 at 11:30 a.m. We are pleased to announce that our speaker will be U.S. Rep. Steven LaTourette (R-Bainbridge). Admission for Chamber members is $20. For non-members and reservations made after noon on Jan. 6 it is $25. This meeting is graciously sponsored by Timothy Edgington of Edward Jones Investments. This month, Custom Computer Solutions Ltd. will speak on its involvement in the NHCOC Revenue Sharing program. Our menu goes international with a German comfort meal — schnitzel, spaetzel, German potato salad and more. Come in out of the cold. The entire community is welcome. To RSVP, please call the Chamber office at 330-467-8956.

It’s easy for business people to “Get Connected” at Dos Coronas Mexican Restaurant, 269 E. Highland Road in Macedonia. On Jan. 28 from 6 to 8 p.m., area business people are invited to join new and existing Chamber members for an event designed to showcase our new members and acquaint others with all the benefits and savings of membership. New members (since July 2009) will have a display table and three minutes to present their products and/or services. Everyone will have the opportunity to expand their list of contacts through one-on-one conversations and even win a prize. Admission is $10. Refreshments and soft drinks are included. A cash bar is available. Any business contemplating joining this Chamber is strongly encouraged to attend — we’ll make it worth your time. Special discounts will be offered to new memberships that night. Please call the Chamber office at 330-467-8956 to RSVP.
