Korean War veteran
Services were Jan. 25 at St., Barnabas Church for Frank Alan Washumick Sr. Mr. Washumick, 82, of Northfield Center, died Jan. 20, 2010.
Mr. Washumick was a proud veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6768 in Northfield Center. He was a life-long township resident.
Mr. Washumick was the beloved husband of Carol; the father of Donna Reilly, Deborah Kaufman, Laura Baysinger, and Frank Washumick Jr.; and the grandfather of Courtney Reilly, Lisa, Lindsay, and LeeAnn Parker, Ashlie and Frank Washumick, Isabella and Gabriella Cutini, Bill Pickering and the great-grandfather of Camrin Pickering.
Burial was at Crown Hill Cemetery.
The family suggests contributions be made to the American Lung Association, 6100 Rockside Woods Boulevard, Suite 260, Independence, Ohio 44131.
Johnson-Romito Funeral Home handled arrangements.
