Thank you to Dos Coronas Mexican Restaurant, 269 E. Highland Road in Macedonia, for hosting a super NHCOC Get Connected After Hours event this week. Our host Jaime DeLapaz was gracious and generous with the refreshments. If you have a taste for great Mexican food, check out Dos Coronas. The fajitas and margaritas are wonderful.

The popular Networking Madness luncheon is back. This ultimate power networking experience, sponsored by Design Wizard, Inc., is scheduled for Feb. 11 at Gambitta's Party Center. Registration begins at 11:15 a.m. Admission is $20 for Chamber members, $25 for non-members. Get to know 15 or 20 different companies and they will get to know you.

You will be seated at a table of six, give your presentation, listen to others and move to another table and do it all over again.

This is an "eat fast, talk fast" occasion. Attendees who have not reserved a seat will be seated last.

So reserve your spot now by calling 330-467-8956. And you will be able to buy scholarship raffle ticket packs of 25 for only $15, a $10 discount.

This special price will only be available at the Feb. 11 and March 11 Chamber meetings.

Each year, the Chamber raises money to fund the Ray Kujawinski and Nancy Fike Memorial Scholarship by holding a prize raffle at the Community Expo. The scholarship is awarded to a graduating student at Nordonia High School. The raffle has always been successful due to the generous support of our business community. We will be doing a Pick-a-Prize Auction for 10 or more donated prizes, each valued at more than $100. This means that ticket buyers will be able to pick the prize they want to win. Beat the odds and put all your tickets in one box. Attention local businesses -- by donating a prize, your business will receive advertising and marketing at no additional cost. Prizes donors to date include: Spennato's Ristorante & Pizzeria, Roseland Bowling Lanes, Jackson Comfort Systems, Paul Fike Builders, Builder's Emporium, Moments By Cole Photography, Loddo Tree & Shrub Service and No Time Cleaning Services. Please call Scholarship Chairwoman Cindy Batchelor of Akland Printing at 330-467-8292 to donate or receive more information.
