Services were Jan. 23 for Elizabeth S. Carter, nee Svoboda. Mrs. Carter, 101, of Maple Heights, died Jan. 20, 2010, at Brentwood Health Care in Sagamore Hills.
Mrs. Carter was born to Charles and Elizabeth Svoboda on Oct. 9, 1908, in Maple Heights. She worked as a bookkeeper.
Mrs. Carter was the wife of Paul, deceased; the loving sister of the late Dorothy Carter and Charles Svoboda; dear aunt of Dorothy Ferolli (Vic) and Melissa Humphrey (Dave); and devoted great-aunt and great-great-aunt
Burial was at Crown Hill Cemetery.
The family suggests contributions be made to Maple Heights Presbyterian Church, 15715 Libby Road, Maple Heights, 44137.
Ferfolia Funeral Home handled arrangements.
