Services were Jan. 15 for Robert E. Sillasen. Mr. Sillasen, 80, of Northfield, died Jan. 10, 2010, at Marymount Hospital.
Mr. Sillasen was born to Axel and Dorothy Sillasen, both deceased, on June 24, 1929, in Cleveland. He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked as a printer.
Mr. Sillasen was the husband of Eleanor, nee Mika, deceased; the father of Robert J. (Joan), Mark L., Kevin M. (Sandra), Craig A. (fiancee Donna), Susan (Steve) Carruozzo and Sheila (Tom) Golobek; the grandfather of 11 and the great grandfather of Jacob, deceased; the brother of Thomas and Betty Sillasen, both deceased; and a loving uncle and great uncle. He will be missed by his little buddy Jordan.
Burial was at All Saints Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be made to Akron Children's Hospital Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Department.
Ferfolia Funeral Home handled arrangements.
