Wendy Elizabeth Heiser and Karl Alan Higley were united in marriage June 27, 2009, at Saint Hilary Church in Fairlawn.
The bride is the daughter of David and Sue Heiser of Macedonia. The bridegroom is the son of David and Mary Higley of Bath.
The best man was brother of the groom, Kevin Higley. The matron of honor was Barb Roberts, friend of the bride, and the maid of honor was Anne Duber, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jamie Burkhardt, Marisa Chovan, Jeri Hasanaj, Jennifer Howe, Jacquelyn Kobie, and Stephanie Petrozzi. Groomsmen were Ben Alber, Matthew Chamberlain, Travis Mercer, Drew Riegler, Andrew Tramonte, and Todd West. Flower girls were Greta Heiser, niece of the bride; Sophie Heiser, niece of the bride; and Ava Higley, niece of the groom. The ring bearer was Nicholas Heiser, nephew of the bride.
The bride is a graduate of Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy and The University of Akron. She is a regional account manager for Telogis, a location-based software company.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Walsh Jesuit and Bowling Green State University. He is the owner of Colorworks, a mobile automotive paint repair company.
The couple honeymooned in the Florida Keys. They live in Bath.
