'Getting Marriage Right' Pastor Joe Propri of the Biblical Counseling Institute will teaching "Getting Marriage Right: Enjoying the Gift of Intimacy" Feb. 20 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The class meets at the Destiny Ministry Center, 9241 Ravenna Road, C-8, in Twinsburg. " Share a day of fellowship and inspiration as the Lenten season arrives. Featured speaker will be "Tacji." She will share her life's story on how she turned her life over to God by spreading His love through her gift of music and song. A donation of $10 is requested. Help turn teens from 'passive to passion' Destiny Church's MOSAIC youth group has begun a 13-week study entitled, "Demolishing Strongholds -- Turning Teens from Passive to Passion." This study is a companion to the church's teachings on the Book of Genesis and God's Creation. The youth group is for all junior and senior high school students and meets every Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Destiny Ministry Center, 9241 Ravenna Road C8 in Twinsburg. Walk 'Stations of the Cross' in Chagrin Falls On Good Friday, April 2 at noon, an outdoor Stations of the Cross will be celebrated, beginning and ending at the bandstand in downtown Chagrin Falls. Participants from Christian churches of the Chagrin Valley area will journey two miles to commemorate the footsteps of Jesus Christ on his journey to the cross. There will be 14 stops to pray and reflect during the route and the journey will conclude in front of the gazebo in downtown Chagrin Falls. From the early days of Christianity, followers of Jesus told the story of his passion, death and resurrection. Visitors to Jerusalem were anxious to see the sites connected to the journey of Christ. Women's prayer group gathers for luncheon The St. Rita's Women's Prayer Group will meet Feb. 27 from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the third-annual luncheon, "Life in the Blender." Guest speaker will be Mary Lou Beers and the luncheon will be in St. Mark's Chapel, 32820 Baldwin Road off Route 43 in Solon. Cost is $15 per person and registration deadline is Feb. 24. Sanctuary offers time management workshop Joseph's Kitchen community meal will be Feb. 19 at 6:30 p.m., and Joseph's Kitchen free food distribution will be Feb. 20 from noon to 1 p.m. Also on Feb. 20, visit the southern campus at 35 McNaughton Street in Akron from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for Sanctuary of Praise International Ministries' "College and Scholarship Fair." College-bound youth and adults should attend. Get help writing required essays and applying for funds. Representatives from surrounding colleges and universities will answer questions. Then on Feb. 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., visit the "College and Scholarship Fair" at the main campus in Twinsburg.
