Northfield Center resident
Services were Feb. 18 at St. Barnabas Church for Ninfa Ann Scolaro, nee Ortega. Mrs. Scolaro, 88, of Northfield Center, died Feb. 14, 2010, at Elmcroft of Sagamore Hills.
Mrs. Scolaro was born to Angelo and Josephine Ortega, both deceased, on Oct. 31, 1921, in Cleveland. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Scolaro was the wife of Victor, deceased; the mother of Josephine Arceci (Richard), James Scolaro (Megan) and Donna Brumfield (Michael); the grandmother of 10 and the great-grandmother of six; and the sister of Lillian Amato, Camille Manzo, Theresa Mazzulo, Joseph Ortega and Sonny Ortega, all deceased, and Frances D'Ambrosia.
Burial was at Northfield-Macedonia Cemetery.
The family suggests contributions be made to Crossroads Hospice of Northeast Ohio, 1742 Georgetown Road, Suite J, Hudson, Ohio 44234.
Ferfolia Funeral Home handled arrangements.
