On Feb. 26, the Sanctuary Festival Series of the United Methodist Church of Macedonia, 1280 E. Aurora Road, was defeated by the weather. For the first time in their six seasons, the program had to be canceled. The program, Colonial Times, will take now place on March 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the church's Fellowship Hall. As always, everyone is welcome, the show is free and so is the parking and the refreshments. A good-will offering will be taken. Revolutionary War re-enactors Pat and Rich Featherstun will set up some displays and, in costume, will talk about some of the customs and habits of late 1700s America. They both are avid historians and have appeared at the Yankee Peddler Festival since its beginnings and have participated in many other programs, discussions and even movies. After the show there will be time for questions and to talk with them. For further information, call the church office at 330-467-3169 or Ruth Kotila at 330-467-0632. Comments
