Lauren Danek and Steve Minster were united in marriage Sept. 19, 2009, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Independence.
The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Bess Danek of Sagamore Hills. The bridegroom is the son of Tim and Joanne Minster of Marietta, Ga.
The bride is a graduate of Nordonia High School and a 2007 graduate of John Carroll University with a degree in industrial/organizational psychology. She is a benefits administrator at National Interstate Insurance Co.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Pope High School in Marietta, Ga. He earned degrees in both business management and risk management insurance from the University of Georgia, as well as a master's degree in business administration from Kennesaw State University. He is a product manager at National Interstate Insurance Co.
