The O'Hare Irish Dance Booster Club will present "The Rhythm of Ireland" -- An Evening of Irish Music and Dance, on March 12. This event will feature the O'Hare Irish Dancers, the Summit Choral Society's Masterworks Chorale Chamber Choir, Akron's Own Irish Tenor, Pat Flynn, and Celtic music by the Hired Hands. Dinner will be provided by the Barley House. The evening will include professionally choreographed performances by the O'Hare School of Irish Dance. Highlighting the evening are O'Hare's more than 25 championship dancers, most notably, this year's two World Championship and seven All-Ireland Championship Qualifiers. The event will be at the Ann Amer Brennan Theater, at Our Lady of the Elms High School on W. Exchange St. in Akron. Doors open at 6 p.m., dinner is served at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m. (Lenten meals are available.) Tickets may be purchased for dinner and the show or show only: * $30 - adult dinner and show ticket; * $25 - adult show only ticket; * $20 - 12 and under dinner and show ticket; and * $15 - 12 and under show only ticket.
