Brooklyn Heights — A Sagamore Hills woman has been ticketed in an accident captured in dramatic video that showed a police officer flipping over a guardrail.
Brooklyn Heights police cited Kathryn Dagostino, of Sagamore Hills, on Wednesday with losing control of her car. She faces a court hearing this month and could be fined.
Dagostino could not immediately be reached. There was no phone listing for her in Sagamore Hills.
Police dashcam video showed Dagostino going to the aid of Lt. John Lambert after the Feb. 27 accident. He was helping a stranded motorist on an icy highway ramp when Dagostino's car slid toward them. Lambert pushed the first driver out of the way before he was sent flying.
Lambert remains hospitalized with a broken pelvis and other injuries.
