Support group meets for breakfast, dinner A New Beginning, a social group for widows and widowers of all ages from Summit County communities, meets for breakfast and conversation every Saturday at Eat'n Park, 200 Howe Ave., Cuyahoga Falls. Breakfast meetings begin at 8 a.m. The group also meets for dinner the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month at 6 p.m. For restaurant location and more information of dinner meetings, call 330-929-5430. Support groups offered for children Joel's Place for Children offers grief support groups for children ages 5 to 18 who have experienced the death of someone special in their lives. Joel's Place for Children services are free. The support groups meet in Highland Heights and Bay Village, and are coordinated by a certified bereavement facilitator. Sessions involve participation in arts and crafts, games, age-appropriate discussions, and other activities designed to help children express their feelings in a safe and supportive atmosphere with other children who have experienced a loss.
