Bonnie Komornik of Sagamore Hills, a team leader for the WVIZ/PBS televised auction April 29 through May 2, will help raise funds for Northeastern Ohio's public television station. Komornik will lead volunteers by canvassing towns in Summit County, including Aurora, Solon, Twinsburg, Hudson, asking businesses and individuals for donations. Volunteers are still needed to collect auction items for the event. This event marks the 43rd annual televised auction.
Nearly 2,000 donations will be needed to reach the auction's goal of $500,000. For more information, contact the WVIZ/PBS Televised Auction Office at 216-916-6100 or e-mail volunteer@wviz.org.
