The Mystery Book Lovers discussion group is an informal group of adult mystery readers, meeting the third Wednesday of each month. Our next discussion is "The Lace Reader" by Brunonia Barry on March 17 at 7 p.m.

Play some games

Nordonia Hills Game Time is a regular games meet-up each month, welcoming patrons who enjoy board games, cards, chess, role-playing, war games, and collectible card games. We also have a number of games on hand for patrons to use. The next meet-up will be on March 20 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Join fellow local players - sharpen your intellect - enjoy the social aspects of games. Refreshments are served. No sign up is necessary.

Celebrate
National Craft Month

Celebrate National Craft Month March 22 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Join Tonya for some scented bath salt fun. Sign up is suggested, as space is limited.

Hear a story

Sign up now for one story time per child.

* Baby Time: For children 6 to 24 months with a parent or caregiver. This program features bounces, songs, and short stories on Tuesdays at 2 p.m. until March 30.

* Bedtime Story Time: For children 2 to 5 years old, not yet in kindergarten, on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. until March 31. Two-year-olds must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

* Toddler Story Time: For children 2 years old accompanied by a parent or caregiver on Thursdays at 10:15 a.m. until April 1.

* Preschool Story Time: For children 3 to 5 years old, not yet in kindergarten, on Thursdays at 11 a.m. until April 1.

Our evening book discussion group is an informal, eclectic group of adult readers, usually meeting the fourth Wednesday of each month.

Our next discussion is March 24 at 7 p.m. We will discuss "Wicked" by Gregory Maguire.

Our afternoon book discussion group is open to all adult readers, and meets the second Thursday of each month. Our next discussion is April 8 at 2 p.m. We will discuss "The Innocents Abroad" by Mark Twain.

Wimpy Kid program
to be offered

For children in third to sixth grades. Do you love reading about Greg Heffley's adventures in his diaries? Do you find yourself cracking up at the comics? Then, you need to come and celebrate the upcoming movie with us. We'll play wimpy kid games and you will have a chance to decorate your own journal/diary on March 27 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Please sign up.

Make it and take it

Make-It Take-It is for children in third through fifth grades on the last Monday of each month at 4:30 p.m.

Fly with the wind on March 29. Make a kite that really flies.

Come to Teen Cafe

For students in fifth grade and up on the first Thursday of each month at 3:30 p.m. Please sign up.

On April 1, making an altered CD book is easy, fast and fun.

Calling all scrappers

Attention avid scrapbookers. Looking for space to s-p-r-e-a-d o-u-t for the whole day? Experienced and newbies alike invited to this all-day crop! Bring your gear, a lunch, and a friend. New faces are always welcome. The next meeting of the Nordonia Hills Scrapbookers will April 3 from 10:15 a.m. to 4 p.m.

After School Club planned

For children in kindergarten to second grade. April Showers Bring May Flowers. Let's celebrate the spring season together with stories and a craft on April 7 at 4:30 p.m.

Yoga for seniors

Join us for this "everybody can do yoga class" on April 8 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Join Mary Pat Murphy of Namaste' Yoga Studio and celebrate the ancient practice of integrating the mind, body and the breath. In this class, the focus will be on breathing and gentle movements. Space is limited, so sign up is suggested.

Magic with
Rick Smith Jr.

Discover the wonder of magic with nationally renowned magician and illusionist Rick Smith Jr. on April 10 at 2 p.m. All ages welcome. Sign up is suggested.

Discuss light fiction

Do you like to talk about the books you read and enjoy? Then join us the second Monday of each month at 2 p.m. for reader-to-reader book discussions, fun, and sharing with fellow light fiction lovers. On April 12, we'll be reading "The Myth of You and Me" by Leah Stewart. Please join us.

Stitch Clique to meet

Grab your crocheting/knitting needles and yarn and stitch the evening away. Join us the second Tuesday of each month for crocheting/knitting tips, friendship, advice and more. Refreshments will be served. The next meeting is April 13 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Discuss life at
Socrates Café

Join us at the Socrates Café, a regular gathering of adults engaging in great conversation, exploring current events, thoughtful ideas, and reasoned debates.

Come and take part April 14 at 6:30 p.m., or just listen to the discussion. For all patrons 16 and over.
