Services were July 22 at noon at Johnson-Romito Funeral Home for Karen S. Morgenstern, nee McAlarney. The Rev. Richard Kipp officiated. Mrs. Morgenstern, 61, of Macedonia, died July 18, 2010, at Summa Health System Akron City Hospital.
Mrs. Morgenstern was born to Fred R. (Peggy) and Mary A., nee Carpenter, deceased, McAlarney in Marietta. She was a member of the Bible Believers Baptist Church.
Mrs. Morgenstern was the wife of Bob A. Morgenstern; the mother of William L. Morgenstern of Northfield, Richard (Tina) Morgenstern of Shalersville; the grandmother of Dylan, Jenna, Nolan, Aidan, Blaine and Brianna; the sister of Debra (Vic) Tuffs of Huggins, Va., Scott Zimerman and Larry McAlarney of Marietta, and Greg McAlarney of Beverly.
Burial was at Crown Hill Memorial Park. Johnson-Romito handled arrangements.
