Laura Duerr, daughter of Gary and Judith Duerr of Macedonia, and Bradley Haas, son of Jerry and Grace Haas of Copley, plan to marry in August at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Akron.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Streetsboro High School and a 2007 graduate of The University of Akron. She works as a subsitute teacher in Summit County and is a lead teacher at the Sylvan Learning Center in Twinsburg.
The bridegroom-to-be is a graduate of Copley High School and a 2008 graduate of The University of Akron. He is a business intelligence specialist with FirstEnergy Corp.
