Enjoy an Akron Aeros baseball game with the company of a pet Aug. 11 at 6 p.m., as "Paws and Pitches" comes to Canal Park. Tickets will be sold at discounted prices through Pawsibilities, the Humane Society of Greater Akron, to benefit their organization. This family event helps out the abused, abandoned and neglected animals of Summit County. The Akron Aeros partner with Pawsibilities, the Humane Society of Greater Akron annually to promote family entertainment and educate the public on the society's mission. The evening will kick off at 6:15 p.m. with a pet parade around the field. During the game, owners can get a picture with their furry friend. Adoptable animals will be present, hoping to find homes. Tickets are $6 per person and $4 per pet. Regular ticket prices are $10 apiece. Tickets can be purchased prior to the game at the shelter at 7996 Darrow Road in Twinsburg.
