Mike Champa, son of Lou and Karen Champa and Carolyn Champa and Scott Simon of Sagamore Hills, and Katie Freking, daughter of Nancy and Mark, deceased, Freking of Centerville, plan to marry in October at The Elms, in Oxford.
The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Archbishop Alter High School and a 2005 graduate of Miami University. She is employed by Jump Trading, of Chicago, as a senior accountant.
The bridegroom-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Nordonia High School and a 2005 graduate of Miami University. He is an associate with Huron Consulting, of Chicago.
The couple plans to honeymoon in French Polynesia.
