Korean War veteran
Services were July 24 for Salvatore Cali. Mr. Cali, 81, of Sagamore Hills, died July 20, 2010, at Hillcrest Hospital.
Mr. Cali was born to Joseph and Jean Cali, both deceased, on Jan. 26, 1929, in Cleveland. He was a U.S, Navy veteran, serving during the Korean War, a restaurant owner, and a fourth degree Knight of Columbus, Fr Bedell Council.
Mr. Cali was the husband of Frances M, nee Gullo; the father of Kathleen Friess (Mike), Darlene Phillips (David), Joseph (Kris), and Veronica Huber (Craig); and the dear brother of JoAnn Smith.
Burial was at All Saints Cemetery.
The family suggests contributions be made n honor of Mr. Cali's commitment to serving the needy by bringing a non-perishable food item to St. Barnabas Church for the St. Vincent DePaul Society food pantry. Ferfolia Funeral Home handled arrangements.
