The Nordonia Hills Preschool Parents group will be hosting its annual kick-off picnic Aug. 17 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Sagamore Hills Park in Pavilion A.
NHPP is a non-profit organization providing recreational and educational opportunities for families with children under 6 years of age.
Since the group's inception in 1975 members have gathered regularly for monthly meetings, field trips, holiday parties, picnics, adult socials and playgroups.
The group is welcoming new members and encourages returning members to attend. Those interested in joining should visit the group's website at www.gonhpp.com for more information.
The picnic promises to be fun for the entire family.
Meet new friends while enjoying pizza, pop, a DJ and other fun planned activities for the kids to participate in.
There will also be a raffle for new members who sign up at the picnic.
