A Mass of Christian burial was July 30 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church for former area resident Joseph L. Tirone Jr. Mr. Tirone, 51, died July 26, 2010, at his home in Akron.
Mr. Tirone was born March 28, 1959, in Youngstown to Joseph J. and Shirley A. Tirone. He worked for Goodyear and was a 1977 graduate of Nordonia High School.
Mr. Tirone loved bald eagles and is at peace now, flying with his eagles.
Mr. Tirone was the father of Justine R., Joseph D. and Samantha Ann. He was the brother of Sherry Jo Tirone and uncle of Brandon Stump.
Interment was at All Saints Cemetery.
Ferfolia Funeral Home handled arrangements.
