The following Nordonia games are scheduled to be broadcast on Cable 9 Television:

Football: Maple Heights at Nordonia, Aug. 27; Nordonia at Twinsburg, Sept. 3; North Royalton at Nordonia, Sept. 17; and Medina at Nordonia, Oct. 8

Boys soccer: Twinsburg at Nordonia, Sept. 1

Volleyball: North Royalton at Nordonia, Sept. 28

Girls soccer: Twinsburg at Nordonia, Oct. 11

Youth hockey program seeks players

Nordonia High School head hockey coach Joe Kramp is looking for individuals interested in playing youth hockey this fall as part of the Garfield Heights MUNY Hockey Program.

There are two programs: an in-house program for the beginner and also a traveling program.

Cut-a-thon scheduled

The Best Little Hair House in Northfield is scheduled to conduct a fundraiser cut-a-thon Aug. 22 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

All proceeds will benefit the Nordonia High School Athletic Department.

No appointment is necessary and it's first come, first serve. The Nordonia High School athletic department will be selling presale football game tickets for the season-opening game.

Food and beverages will be provided with a $1 donation. An inflatable obstacle bouncers ($3 donation) will be available for kids ages 6 and younger. A raffle and a bake sale also will be included. A shampoo and cut is a $15 donation and a mini hand and arm massage is $1 per minute. Nail polishing is $5 and nail art is $3. Face painting is $2.
