Northfield Village — Complaining of shortness of breath and a rapid heartbeat, Ward C Councilor Lennie Noack was taken from Village Hall by firefighters to UH-Bedford Medical Center Aug. 25.

Noack told the News Leader from his home Aug. 26 and that he was feeling better, but was also tired.

He said doctors released him to go home around 2 a.m. and that he would be seeing his physician for follow-up care.

Council was less than an hour into its second regular meeting of the month when Noack said he was feeling ill a little after 8 p.m.

Fire Chief Gary Vojtush and two firefighters who were also at the meeting helped Noack out of the meeting room.
