THUMBS UP … to the faculty, students and families of the Nordonia Hills City Schools, for helping the district attain a rating of “Excellent with Distinction” on the 2009-10 state report card. Students in all areas scored above state standards, and overall student performance was well above the proficient level. That school improvement has been above expectations for two years indicates school staff, students and parents have been working together to boost student performance. Though the school community should be overjoyed with this well-earned achievement, it’s also a milestone the entire community can be proud of.
