Hinton graduates from Francis Marion
Jarron Douglas Hinton, of Northfield, was awarded a bachelor of science degree in history during May 3 commencement exercises at Francis Marion University in Florence, S.C.
Dennis recognized
at Mount Union
Lauren Dennis, a junior art major from Sagamore Hills, was awarded the Mary Evelyn Cook Weber Prize at the Senior Recognition and Honors Convocation recently at Mount Union College. The prize is awarded to an outstanding junior art major.
Houser on dean's list at American University
Elaina Houser, a senior in the School of Public Affairs at American University was named to the fall 2007 dean's list. A resident of Macedonia, Houser is majoring in communications, legal institutions, economics and government.
Schweitzer recognized at Miami University
Katharine Schweitzer, of Macedonia, was one of 21 Miami University graduating seniors who received the President's Distinguished Service Award April 13.
The award recognizes exemplary contributions to campus and community life.
Schweitzer is a philosophy major and was recognized for her contributions as an undergraduate associate and as a member of the dean's student advisory council in the College of Arts and Science.
