The Nordonia Hills 14-and-under Renegades travel baseball team won its two games in its final at bat.
The Renegades beat Valley View 5-4 on Wednesday and North Olmsted 11-10.
Against Valley View the squad was down 4-3 with two outs in the seventh inning when Jimmy Wild smashed a triple.
Alex Reasbeck worked a walk and Tommy Pieronek beat out an infield hit to tie the score with Wild scoring.
Zach "Zeber" Hebebrand walked to start the bottom of the eighth and then stole second.
Scott Klein came up and lined a single to right while Zeber scampered home with the winning run.
Valley View pulled off a triple play in the third, but Dylan Danko pitched seven innings, giving up four runs on five hits walking three and striking out four to put his team in position to win.
Two nights later the Renegades started in the sixth when Adam Knipfer singled in Wild to tie the game.
Then down 10-7 in the bottom of the seventh, Pieronek led off with a triple.
Later in the inning, Billy Smith singled and Danko drew a walk to load the bases. Wild and Michael Patterson singled to score Klein, Smith and Danko.
Wild advanced to third on Reasbeck's single and up steps Ben Helkowski to the plate.
Helkowski. who had three hits, ripped a shot to center to score Wild and gets mobbed at first base hitting in the winning run.
"The resolve of the boys is something special; they do not quit," said Renegades head coach Dan Campbell.
