A Mass of Christian burial was June 6 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church for Northfield Center resident Mildred Stilwell, (Stefek). Mrs. Stilwell, 77, died June 1, 2009.
Mrs. Stilwell was the wife of Karl N. Stilwell, deceased, and the mother of James (Suzanne) Stilwell of Butte, Mont. and Kathleen (Frank) Polimene of Northfield Center. She was the grandmother of Christopher Moccia, Jamie (Tony) Bueno, Mark Moccia, Michelle (Stephen) Frazier, Brent Polimene and Lauren (Nick) Moissis.
She was the great-grandmother of Derrick, Emma, Kylie, Madison and Carte. She was the sister of Anna (Tom) Benjock, Joseph (Eleanor) Stefek III, George (Georgette) Stefek and Janet (Donald) Shipley and the aunt and great aunt of many.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 E. 185th St., Cleveland 44119.
